Established in the early 1970s.
Mladen Jovanović, a Croatian native, was the pulpit minister for this church for more than 35 years.
During the war in the former Yugoslavia in the early 1990s, the church conducted extensive humanitarian relief outreach with refugees and villagers whose homes were destroyed. They also hosted Christian “Evenings of Poetry and Comfort.” These were effective evangelistic tools during the war.
The congregation has been involved in various other evangelistic ministries through the years, including a Christian radio program heard on stations across the country, as well as the annual Family Bible camp on the coast.
